MÜSH provides set decor at REDCAT

Hi friends,
We are happy to blog about our recent participation in visually shaping a critically acclaimed performance at the Disney Concert Hall's RED CAT venue. Thank you Carl Rux for thinking of us.

Carl Hancock Rux: Poesia Negra: Race, Sex and the Myth of the American Mytopia at REDCAT.

"Famous for his dazzling spoken word acuity and alert cultural observation, the Alpert Award-winning poet, dramatist, fiction writer and musicmaker takes center stage in this intimate solo performance that blends paper-bag storytelling, hip-bop-fueled poetic reveries, and plenty of trenchant critical analysis on American mythologies and controversies new and old. Rux’s stripped-down staging shrewdly sets up his soaring oratory as he recites a set of original poems, elaborates on key passages from his essays, sings a few a cappella numbers, and gives spirited disquisitions on an eclectic lineup of cultural game-changers."
